Pixel Defense
Hi!
Pixel Defense is a fast-paced Roguelike Tower Defense game inspired by Rogue Tower and Brotato.
Most tower defense games can feel predictable because towers and upgrades unlock at fixed waves. In Pixel Defense, neither towers nor upgrades are guaranteed.
The game flow is as follows: you start with a preparation phase where you place and upgrade towers. Tower placement is permanent, though there's an undo button available until you place another tower or start the wave. During combat, you watch how your defenses perform. Then comes the shop phase where you buy new towers and upgrades - choose wisely, as every tower brings something unique to your strategy.
This is an early demo (~2 months of development) and my first game ever as a solo indie dev. I'm sharing it now to gather feedback on the gameplay and to start building a community. Art and music are still temporary, but these will improve as development continues.
